Caroline + John originally planned an April 2020 wedding, for obvious reasons that was postponed. They still wed on their original date with immediate family followed by an intimate dinner at their parent’s home.
Fast forward to April 2021, they renewed their vows as husband and wife along side a still intimate crowd of meaningful guest.
When I first spoke with Caroline in 2019 she made it clear that photography was uber important to her. She wanted to connect with an artist that appreciated moments, people and details as much as she did. Throughout our relationship I learned that she had a background in interior and luxury consumer design. Needless to say Caroline has a great eye. She even sruprized her bridesmaids with the introduction of her new line of leather goods Caroline Gatewood.
We’ve held many chats via phone and spoken about everything from logistics to private matters that open one to truly knowing the other. I am grateful to now call them our friends. As for the wedding? I’ll let the photographs do the telling. I will say, that what Caroline envisioned call into light, a full weekend of sun, water, activites, and love amongst those dearest to her and John.
Here is to our friends, be blessed in the life ahead!
